After 10 years of private practice, Dr. Marie O'Hara is making changes regarding the use of her time. She will continue to practice therapy as described below one day a week. She will also be dividing her time to include consulting, supervision and training. She also plans to participate in volunteer work (Pickens County).
Located in Downtown Clemson, Dr. Marie O'Hara is a licensed Clinical Psychologist who specializes in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. Her office is located within walking distance, only 1/2 mile, from the Clemson University Campus, and her home-style office setting provides clients with a comfortable and relaxing environment. Her specialties include, but are not limited to a variety of anxiety disorders, like Panic Disorders, Generalized Anxiety Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders, PTSD, and Eating Disorders. She also frequently helps clients with Mood Disorders, Sexual Dysfunction, Stress Related Issues, Gay/Lesbian Issues, and Gender & Women's Issues.
Due to privacy concerns, Dr. Marie O'Hara does not file insurance claims, but she does provide detailed receipts with proper diagnosis coding so clients can submit directly to their insurance companies.

Dr. O'Hara came to Clemson for her undergraduate degree in Psychology. She then moved to Kansas (her "roots") where she completed her MA. in clinical psychology at Wichita State University and ultimately got her Ph.D. from the University of Georgia.
